All believers know about the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. But most miss what activates the power of the gospel—His ascension!
Only when Jesus ascended to Heaven and sat down at the right hand of the Father in the heavenly places were the works completed. Therefore, the ascension is the consummation of salvation.

Jesus didn’t die just to get you to Heaven. Jesus also died for you to be seated in heavenly places right now in Messiah Jesus. This is part of salvation, and because Jesus paid such a high price, we owe Him not to leave any of it out! It’s already paid for.
It astounds me that so many people believe that most of what Jesus accomplished on the cross will be experienced in eternity, as if we have to wait to get to Heaven to experience it or wait until the millennial reign. While I agree that there are certain aspects of redemption we will never get to experience on this side of Heaven, I also contend and believe there are many aspects of redemption available now.

If there is still a devil working in the earth to kill, steal, and destroy, you can be sure that God and His power are at work to defeat him. This is why the Church is here—to carry on the mission and privilege of destroying the works of the devil.
If the Church does not occupy the spiritual territory given to Jesus in the ascension, then satan will continue to violate the earth and humanity. Every time you as a child of God allow satan to defeat you, you allow satan to disrespect Jesus. That’s right! You are seated far above him in Messiah.

What does it mean to be seated in heavenly places?

We must clearly understand the distinction between Heaven and heavenly places. When Paul speaks of heavenly places, he is addressing a current reality, position, and Glory the believer has access to now through Jesus while on the earth. Heaven, on the other hand, is a reality and Glory that cannot be experienced until you and I leave the earth.

Both are part of our inheritance. However, being seated in the heavenly places is for the purpose of operating in Jesus’ authority and majesty over the kingdom of darkness in order to manifest God’s will and work on earth. Heaven is the fullness of our redemption where we cease from works and enter into the glorious rest of God after our time and work on earth is completed.

Here’s a practical example of operating in Jesus’ authority right now. On earth there is no promise that you won’t get sick or have health challenges. But there is a promise that you will be healed, if you believe! You see it? Healing is a down payment for your body until you receive the full payment that is the redemption and glorification of your body, in which you never need healing again because there is no sickness.

It’s already done!

Jesus said that the ascension would give you and I the authority to do the works that He did, and even greater works because of His position—and ours. This is the position you and I must live in. Don’t let the enemy out from under the foot of Jesus.

It used to frustrate me, because I would look at my situation and the circumstances others were facing, and I could clearly see that we did not have the victory, breakthrough, or deliverance. I later realized that my frustration stemmed from the fact that I did not understand the finished work of Jesus.

You may feel frustrated like I did, but once you get this revelation, it will change your life forever. When Jesus sat down at the right hand of the Father, it was the sign that every promise was completed in Him.

That’s why the Word always refers to the promises of God in past tense. For instance, the Bible tells us that with Jesus’ stripes you were healed. You were blessed with all spiritual blessings. You have been redeemed by His blood. You have been delivered from the power of darkness. God reckoned that He did it for you when He did it in Messiah Jesus. That way you would become the recipient of all God did in Messiah when you received Jesus and you became a joint heir. It’s already done!

The position Jesus had while on earth is now our position. We are physically on earth, but yet seated in heavenly places far above the enemy in rank and authority. As spirit beings given this position, we must renew our minds to this reality. We have been given this seat to display the power and authority that resides in it. All of the works and ability of the Spirit are at our disposal. The visions, dreams, gifts of the Spirit and miraculous power are our inheritance.

If you’re born again, God won’t remove you from your seat when you sin, but satan will attack you when you sin, and he can gain access to hinder your life. Therefore, you must be quick to repent and change. That way, when you release the promises of God over your life, satan has no place to hinder you.

The Ascension Dimension

You live in this amazing supernatural dimension 24 hours a day, and most of you are unaware of it because you are looking for something spectacular. You can’t be in a daze or trance or walking in an open vision all day every day, but you can be aware of the Spirit and His workings in and to you every day.

Through the Spirit you have access to the mind and mysteries of God. You have the ability to go beyond natural knowledge into revelation knowledge. You have the ability to know what cannot be known by the mind and intellect of man.
A Spirit-filled life is life in the Ascension Dimension. There is no Ascension Dimension without Him and His works. We must at all times welcome the person, presence, and power of the Spirit.

Always remember, your inheritance comes in two installments. The full payment reserved for Heaven and the down payment reserved for earth. Both were purchased by the blood of Jesus. And for those of us on earth, the Holy Spirit was sent to the earth to make sure that you get what Jesus paid for you to have.

Although redemption has provided for you an eternity in Heaven, it also provided for you a seat in heavenly places! It’s time for you to walk in the fullness of the Ascension Dimension!

When I think of perseverance in the Bible, I think of Noah. It is estimated that it took him as long as 75 years to build the ark! Scripture also refers to Noah as “a preacher of righteousness” (2 Peter 2:5 TSB), so he was preaching a message of repentance for decades as well. Then the Flood came, and the only survivors were on the ark. ALL others perished!

In a small sense I feel like Noah. I have been preaching a “John the Baptist” repentance message since I was 30! 

In recent years, you may feel like the devil has been winning. But in 2025 prepare to THRIVE. The Flood that is coming will not bring death and destruction like in Noah’s day. It will be the Flood of the Greater Golden Global Glory! Wherever that Flood goes, it will bring Life!

I am thankful for the team of evangelists we support in Ukraine who are bringing Life wherever they go! Just before Christmas, the team visited an orphans’ home about 80 miles from Odessa. Remember, half the people in Odessa have Jewish ancestry. This is the team’s report: 
It was one of the best events we’ve held this year. The 30 kids were SO excited—every child received a gift shoebox along with a children’s Bible. Then the air raid sirens went off and we had to continue in a bomb shelter which is located underground. It’s cold with no heat, but often these orphans must spend the night there. On this evening every child received Jesus!

As you may know, we have now built 244 fully functioning bomb shelters in Israel. So, it was easy for God to give me a burden to provide heat for the orphans’ bomb shelter in Ukraine.

Here’s the update from the Ukraine team:
Because of your support we were able not only to bring heaters for the shelter, but also some winter coats and sweaters for the orphans, to keep them warm and remind them about the warmth of God’s love for them! 

I know this first new project of 2025 only involves 30 young orphans, but what if one of them will be the next Billy Graham? Only God knows.

Our faith for 2025 is not in politics, the economy or new virus vaccines. No, our faith is in something bigger. Actually, it is in someONE bigger. Our faith is in God! 

My wife and I spent this past December in southern Georgia. Usually, I take this time away from the office to write a book or do a ministry project. But this year I had no agenda. Just prayer and time with my family. 

During that month, I prayed in tongues more than normal. God was so pleased! Daily, I felt the sweetest presence and pleasure of God wrap around me.

While I was away, the Gospel was still being broadcast over our TV networks—on our METV network throughout Israel and the Middle East as well as on our online It’s Supernatural! Network (ISN) worldwide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

When I begin to ponder how God is using METV, ISN and our social media channels worldwide, I realize it is too big to even ponder! Only God could have taken a traditional Jewish man who only knew “Jesus” as a curse word and reverse his destiny for the good. That’s me!
God is redeeming time. He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9 NKJV).

In 2025 I will devote my efforts to restoring the awe and majesty of God on earth! Second Peter 2:10 (LEB) refers to the unrighteous who …do not tremble with awe while they blaspheme…. And as I go “to the Jew first,” it will open a broad door to evangelize all people!
May you stand in awe of God and THRIVE in 2025!
