There are many people with tattoos these days. They seem to be “in vogue.” However, there’s a teaching going around claiming that “Yeshua has a tatt,” too. The teaching is that when Yeshua returns He will be the bearer of a tattoo on His thigh that says, “Lord of lords and King of kings.” There are at least a few reasons why that cannot be true.

We all as Believers are aware that “God is love” (1John 4:8, 16). Any believer with a Bible has always known that verse. But how does God intend for that reality to impact our lives?

“I declare that I will be a loyal citizen of the State of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.” These are the words that candidates for Israeli citizenship will have to declare if the Israeli cabinet approves an amendment, on Sunday, October 10, 2010, to the current Citizenship Law. The words “as a Jewish and democratic state” are an addition to the traditional pledge.

When Sid’s guests talk about the power of God descending upon a meeting, isn’t that the same “energy” that New Age meetings often experience? One man wrote with this concern, being wary that some supernatural experiences or teachings may be more of the devil than God, more New Age than Christian.

A second round of direct peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians begin on Tuesday, September 14. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has publicly talked about reaching an “historic compromise” with his “partner for peace”, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

The most emails I’ve received in response to my articles have had to do with the issue of forgiveness. One lady from India, for instance, wrote a while back asking how to forgive her Hindu mother-in-law for how she’s been treated by her. Her dilemma brought to the surface the overcoming forgiveness of Yeshua in comparison to other “religions.” Religions don’t bring you the love of God, only through Yeshua can one find saving release from sin or sinful attitudes.
