Outrageous Passover Favor

Dear Mishpochah (Family),

As Passover begins tonight, we commemorate one of the greatest miracles in Jewish history when God supernaturally rescued the Jewish people from Egypt. I believe the story of the first Passover is also a prophetic message for the days in which we live—the last days.

Supernatural Provision

At the first Passover, not only did an entire slave nation get instant freedom, but they left with the jewels of Egypt. Exodus 12:35 says, “they had asked from the Egyptians articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing.” But the most supernatural part was the clothing did not wear out with forty years of walking in the desert (Deuteronomy 8:4)!

Is this what God means when He says in Proverbs 13:22, “the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous”? Could it be that when our world is in a famine, we will be supplied with daily bread (manna) and meat supernaturally as the Jewish people were in the desert? Psalm 37:25 says, “I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.”

Supernatural Health

Could it be that in these last days, believers will walk in divine health as my people did in the desert for forty years? Remember, there were no doctors or hospitals for over two million Jews who were raised as slaves. Yet, according to Psalm 105:37, “none were feeble among His tribes.”

The Jewish people experienced supernatural deliverance, protection and healing at Passover because of the blood of an innocent lamb. How much more is available to us today through the Blood of Jesus—THE Passover Lamb!

Supernatural Favor

Each year at Passover time, God instructed His people to bring a gift to Him. He says in Deuteronomy 16:17 (NLT), on Passover, “All must give as they are able, according to the blessings given to them by the Lord your God.”
