The two are intrinsically bound. The one was born of the other. True Christians are spiritually joined to the nation of Israel, as revealed in the New Testament, grafted in to Israel’s olive tree. As Israel is the physical, flesh-and-blood nation of God, that which is called the “church” is the spiritual nation, a spiritual Israel.

But in the vision of Revelation 12 the two are joined for another reason. The Dragon (devil) wars against both the woman and her children, Israel and “those who have the testimony of Yeshua, Jesus.” So the two are bound together as well in that they are both the object of the Dragon’s wrath and focal points of his war. And since the Dragon’s war will, in the last days, intensify against each, the two, Israel and those who follow Messiah, must and will be effectively joined together.

The Return to the Beginning

If Israel and the church are intrinsically joined, then would not the return and resurrection of Israel point to a corresponding return and a resurrection of the church? If, at the end of the age, the Jewish people have returned to where they were at the beginning of the age, to Israel, then would it not also be the time for the followers of Messiah to return to where they were at the beginning of the age? And where were they at the beginning of the age? They were in the Book of Acts. It is time to return to the Book of Acts.

In the beginning of the age the church was not established, or part of the status quo. It was not comfortable in the world, or endowed with worldly power, was not favored or supported by institutional power or mainstream culture, but rather was, by these, opposed. And yet in the ensuing centuries it would become increasingly joined to the world and worldly power. And by so being, it would lose the spiritual power it once had. It was never so pure, so powerful, so world-changing as it was in the Book of Acts, at the beginning of the age. It was then, when its worldly power was at its least, that its spiritual power was at its greatest.

The Forgotten Calling

Just as each Jewish person who returned to Israel had to take up a long-forgotten identity and revive a long-dead land, so too must each end-time believer take up a long-forgotten spiritual identity of the first believers. Each must manifest the long-unmanifested powers of the Book of Acts. The believers of the end must take up the mantle of the beginning. They must choose to live as they lived, not of worldly power, but by the power of the Spirit. The lives they live must be radical and revolutionary. They must stand as did the first believers, in faith, hope, courage, and victory, and not be overcome by the world but, by the power of God, overcome it.

And as the first believers stood and prevailed in the face of the Dragon’s war against them, so too must the end-time believer. And for that we must unlock one more secret, a critical key to the prevailing of God’s people.

The End-Time Secret

The believer in Messiah, the true Christian, is, by virtue of the new birth, not only joined to the Jewish people but a fellow citizen in the commonwealth of Israel—a spiritual Israelite. So is there a connection between the spiritual Israelites and the resurrected state of Israel? Most see the word Israeli as modern, bound to the reborn state of Israel. But it is not so. The word Israelite is an English rendering of a Latin rendering of a Greek rendering of a Hebrew word. The actual word that appears in the Hebrew Scriptures is Israeli. So the believer in Jesus is not only spiritually Jewish, a spiritual Israelite; he or she is a spiritual Israeli. And since there actually exists a nation of Israel in the world, and since the citizens of the modern nation of Israel are called Israelis, could this open up a revelation for the end-time believer?

The Israeli and the Dragon

This is where two mysteries come together—that of the Dragon and that of the Israeli. The Israeli has come into existence not only because of God but because of the Dragon or, rather, in response to the Dragon. In the realm of the natural the nation of Israel came back into the world because of nearly two thousand years of persecution and calamity. Behind those calamities and bloodshed was the Dragon. For most of that time, they had been victims of that war. But from the moment of their national resurrection, they would be fighters. They would fight back.

The Other Israelis

If the Israelis of the spirit are connected to the Israelis of flesh and blood, then, as the Jewish people, as Israelis, had to learn to fight, so too those who follow the Messiah must in the last days, likewise, learn to fight. As the Israelis of flesh and blood had to become fighters in the earthly realm, the Israelis of spirit must become fighters in the spiritual.

In the last days the Dragon will war against both Israels and both Israelis. The Israeli must fight. In an age increasingly hostile to their faith, their ways, and their existence, the people of Messiah will have no more choice than did the Israelis but to become especially strong in fighting, in warfare, in this case in the Spirit. In such an age it is not enough to maintain one’s stand—one must resist the darkness.

Stand and Fight Against the Darkness

As the Israelis must stand alone, apart, and against the flow of the world that surrounds them, so too must the spiritual Israelis stand spiritually apart and against the spiritual flow of their age. In a day marked by the Dragon’s rule, if one is to follow God, one must stand and fight against the darkness. In such an age it is not enough to have faith and hope and righteousness—one now must take up a fighting faith, a fighting hope, a fighting holiness, a fighting love, and a fighting joy. The people of God are to become a victorious people, a heavenly army, a spiritual IDF (Israel Defense Forces). They are no longer to be counted as victims of the Dragon—but as those who war against him.

My heart is very heavy for America. As I pointed out in my last letter, America is setting itself up for judgment from God according to Genesis 12:3 in which God says He will curse those who curse Israel. Many prophets are saying this judgment will erupt very soon. It will not be the end, but it will be very serious.

America has just put another major nail in its judgment coffin! As of late June when I’m writing this, our anti-Semitic U.S. administration has done the unbelievable to our only ally in the Middle East. They have held back on sending the promised weapons for Israel to defend itself against Hamas and Hezbollah and sent money to arm Israel’s mortal enemies. They say the money is going for humanitarian purposes, but everyone knows it will end up in the hands of terrorists! The charters of Hamas and Hezbollah call for the total annihilation of Israel.

According to a Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research last December, the vast majority of Palestinian civilians supported the Hamas terrorists’ barbaric October 7, 2023 attack against Israel. Even worse, our brainwashed college students are protesting against Israel and are pro Hamas and Hezbollah. Just logically, how can someone who says they are for justice support terrorists that believe torturing, gang raping continually or mutilating their enemies are “worthy” in any way? This support by people who say they want justice proves there is a devil!

When you see what the terrorists have done, it is no different than Hitler!

I’m reminded of how the Zionists warned the German Jews in the early 1930s. They said, “Get out of Germany, we see the ground burning under your feet!” But the German Jews ignored the warnings. Most thought of themselves as more German than Jewish! But history proves the Zionists’ words were true. And six million Jews were murdered. This is what the big lie can do.

Israel is mostly populated with Jews who have also been lied to, for generations, by the rabbis. The rabbis have spread the big lie that “You can’t be Jewish and believe in Jesus!” Since every Jew—even atheist Jews and Jews who believe in Jesus—has the God-given instinct in his or her heart to always remain Jewish, no one should or could ever change this!

But Israel now has a godly remnant of Messianic Jews, and it will do nothing but grow. The older generation of Jews is rapidly dying! And the younger Israeli Jews are searching for answers.

I speak from first-hand experience. At one time I was an American Jew who was dumber than dumb! I gambled in high school. I almost joined the mafia as a college student. Then I opened a nightclub. It was only the mercy of God I didn’t wind up dead, insane or in prison! But God! If God could transform me, He can transform anyone!

I know soon Israel will be ablaze with the Glory of God! And we will fulfill our destiny! We are called by God to bring the light—God’s Glory—to the nations! A rag tag army of Messianic Jews started this movement 2,000 years ago and the the first [the Jews] will be last (Matthew 20:16)! And so all Israel will be saved (Romans 11:26)! The devil knows his time is short. This is why the anti-Israel movement was front and center this summer!

What’s coming next? God says: “I am doing something brand new, something unheard of. Even now it sprouts and grows and matures. Don’t you perceive it? I will make a way [road] in the wilderness and open up flowing streams [floods, rivers of Glory] in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19 TPT).

The best is yet to come. The game changer and the devil’s worst nightmare is the Greater Glory, or the manifest presence of God.
