Why the Recent Terror Attacks in Israel Matter to Me
July 10, 2014
You might wonder why I care so much about what is happening right now in Israel. Beyond the fact that the heart of our ministry is about reaching out with the Gospel to the Jew first (Romans 1:16), there are a few main reasons why the recent terror attacks in Israel matter so much to me.
On our recent ministry tour to Israel, I led an evangelistic outreach in Jerusalem attended by nearly 250 unsaved Russian Jews. God showed up and the miraculous happened. About 99% of the unsaved Russian Jews stood up to receive Yeshua as Messiah!
I am so excited for them to know Messiah but, at this moment, my heart is also burdened for them. That’s because the same Russian Jews who attended the outreach are from one of the cities that is right now under attack by Hamas missile fire.
My prayer is that those who came to know Yeshua at the evangelistic outreach would impact the lives of those around them even now, in the midst of the attacks.
I believe we are entering the time of “Jacob’s Trouble,” a time where the worst of the worst will happen to Israel. But out of Jacob’s Trouble will come the greatest Jewish harvest the world has ever seen.
Jewish people are more open to the Gospel now than ever before. Our recent outreach in Jerusalem is proof of that.
We are on the cutting-edge, reaching the Jewish people for Messiah in a number of ways. Our television show, It’s Supernatural!, now airs 28 times a week in Israel and even more times in other parts of the world containing Jewish populations. We are mailing my evangelistic books to unsaved Jewish households throughout the world. When you partner with our ministry, you are joining us heart to heart for the great Jewish harvest that is now unfolding.
God is opening so many doors for Jewish evangelism and we are stepping through. The results we have seen from our outreach in Jerusalem and reports from viewers of It’s Supernatural! are confirmation that God is on the move. We are following Him!
These are the last of the last days. The only thing we can take to heaven with us is souls. Please keep our ministry in your prayers as we follow God’s leading to reach His beloved people. And please prayerfully consider supporting us financially. The doors for evangelism are opening faster than we could have ever imagined!

Sid Roth, a former account executive for Merrill Lynch, was raised in a traditional Jewish home. Yet, religious tradition provided no answers when he hit rock bottom in 1972. With his life out of control and his marriage in shambles, Sid was set free from demonic oppression through a supernatural encounter with Jesus. Immediately, he began to boldly proclaim Jesus as the Jewish Messiah.
