I am deeply saddened that the Presbyterian Church (USA) leaders voted to sell their stock from their pension funds that sell products to Israel as a protest against them for not giving up the land God gave the Jewish people “forever.”
God calls Israel “My land” in Joel 3:2. God owns the land and has leased it to the Jewish people “forever,” “everlasting,” and “1,000 generations” according to Psalm 105:8-11 and many other Scriptures.
Has God changed His mind because of the sins of the Jewish people? No, because God says about the promises to the Jewish people in Romans 11:29, “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” What about the Palestinians? When Jews were forced to leave Arab lands, Israel resettled them. When Palestinians voluntarily left Israel, the Arab nations made them pawns to get sympathy for their ultimate plan of peace: Obtain all of Israel piece by piece.
My heart goes out to the Palestinian people. However, the villain in their suffering is not Israel but the oil-rich Muslim lands that refuse to help their own people resettle as Israel did and prefer them to suffer. God loves all Arabs and has a great plan to bless them (Isaiah 19:24, 25). But dividing up His land results in His curses (Joel 3:1, 2)!
