An old heresy is being revived in the church today. It teaches that the Old Testament is finished, no longer relevant for believers. It compounds this error by teaching the Book of Revelation has already taken place. This heresy could cost you your salvation!
Without the end-time prophecy and moral law (Ten Commandments) and understanding of God’s position on the Jew and Israel that we gain from the Old Testament, we will look like, smell like and act like the world. Without understanding of the biblical Feasts, we will not be ready for the return of the Lord. The first Feasts pointed toward the first coming of Jesus. The fall Feasts foreshadow His return!
The Hebrew word translated “convocation” in Leviticus 23 referring to the biblical Feasts, should be translated “rehearsals.” The fall Feasts are dress rehearsals for His return. The end-time prophecies in the Old Testament have come true 100% of the time. Now the remaining one-third of Old Testament prophecies that have not yet been fulfilled are ready to come to pass. Even the New Testament letter written by Timothy referring to the ONLY Bible the first church had, says, “ALL Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Tim. 3:16).
Guess who gains by removing these end-time prophetic books?
The trump card for why the Book of Revelation has NOT already come to pass is the date it was written. Those who believe it was all fulfilled in AD 70 must deal with the conclusive historical evidence that John wrote the book after AD 90!
The major purpose of these end-time heresies is to have you so ignorant of end times that you will be deceived and NOT be on God’s side. I often wondered why God’s Word said in Matthew 24:12 (NAS), “Because lawlessness [Scripture-lessness/Old and New Testament] is increased, MOST people’s love will grow cold.”
