One of my favorite places in all of Israel is the Sea of Galilee.
Jesus operated in more miracles in the Sea of Galilee area than any other area in Israel. Here, He called Simon Peter and his brother Andrew to be His disciples. Here, He walked across the waters to His disciples shortly after feeding the five thousand. And here, Jesus calmed a furious storm, challenging His disciples to replace their fear with faith.
I believe in the same way Jesus made the waters peaceful during the storm at the Sea of Galilee, He can give you shalom (peace) in your life.
“And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm” (Mark 4:39, ESV).
Watch the video and view the pictures below. I pray the storms will be stilled in your life and that you will experience shalom! (Go here to watch video if player does not show up below.)
