We Don’t Stand a Chance…But God!

Our nation deserves judgment, but God is about to pour out mercy. Without a direct intervention of God, America will go the way of all historical nations that turn from Him. But the judgment will be worse. Why? Because God says in Luke 12:48 “…to whom much is given, from him much will be required….”
We are the most blessed nation on earth, but we deserve to go the way of Sodom and Gomorrah. Our nation is on the brink of total sexual depravity—homosexuality is taught as a normal lifestyle in schools and young people do not see the need for marriage. Drug addictions from prescription medicine to legal marijuana to new designer drugs are at all time highs. Teen suicides and pornography are epidemic. Race and economic riots are on the increase, potentially leading to anarchy! The universities, news organizations and entertainment industry have ganged up on our youth. Without God, they have no chance.
In the face of this encroaching darkness, the churches with the biggest growth are “seeker-sensitive.” Light shows and entertainment have replaced the presence and power and experiential knowledge of God. Grace is taught as a license to sin as opposed to its real meaning. True grace is the supernatural enabling power to overcome sin. The top current grace teachers believe you only need to repent at salvation and never again!
It seems as if all is lost—but God!
As David declared before he did battle with Goliath in 1 Samuel 17:29, “Is there not a cause?” Then David said to Saul: “Master, … don’t give up hope. I’m ready to go and fight…” (1 Samuel 17:32 MSG).
Like David, in this current sea of hopelessness and despair, I see glimmers of hope. Don’t give up! I believe God is giving America more time. In pockets throughout this nation, prayer is going up relentlessly. Many churches are being invaded by the tangible presence of God. Deep repentance is beginning.
And in Israel, for the first time since the Book of Acts, Israeli believers are boldly going into the streets and praying for the sick and inviting the unsaved to their congregations.
Don’t give up. Your prayers for healing and the salvation of your loved ones are about to be answered. Cry out to God for His presence like never before.
A billion souls are about to be saved. Most will be young. They will not settle for sugar-coated messages about a powerless Gospel. They will come in the front door of the church filled with the fire of God and be bored and exit through the back door just as fast. But those who will not limit God by their understanding and past experience will participate in the new move of God that we all are seeking!
Churches that partner with this next move will not be able to hold all the new believers, so multi-million-dollar sports stadiums will be used for services. Creative miracles will break out throughout the United States and around the world. Our universities, entertainment and news outlets will be flooded with so much good news they will not have time for the negative. Is there not a cause? Don’t give up!
Sid Roth, a former account executive for Merrill Lynch, was raised in a traditional Jewish home. Yet, religious tradition provided no answers when he hit rock bottom in 1972. With his life out of control and his marriage in shambles, Sid was set free from demonic oppression through a supernatural encounter with Jesus. Immediately, he began to boldly proclaim Jesus as the Jewish Messiah.
