Don’t Miss Your Appointment with God Today
Today begins Shavuot (Pentecost), the time of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The biblical feasts are not just Jewish feasts, but God calls them “My feasts.” In Leviticus 23:2, the Hebrew word for “feasts” means “appointments.” In other words, this is God’s set appointment. The feasts are dates God has put in His appointment book to meet with you.
I have learned that at biblical feasts, a major portal (door) opens in Heaven. This is your moment to receive the blessings God wants to give you. God wants to give you blessings even more than you want to receive them!
God instructs us not to come to our appointment “empty-handed. Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord…” (Deut. 16:16-17).
