How to Overcome the Enemy of Our Faith

God’s Word acts as a solvent-solution, by dissolving the mountain when the Word is spoken over it. Yet, by confession you speak God’s Word only, and never consider the lying symptom. Always verbally say Bible promises by Chapter and verse, then reject the symptoms, this will eventually dissolve them. But you still fight the good faith battle by keeping your mind occupied with God’s promises, and not with pain-symptoms. God’s Word is truth that destroys yoke’s and bondages.

Things are not what they seem to be; instead, they are what God’s Word says they are. You must know that according to Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24-b, that God counts you as already healed. Jesus has already paid your sin penalty. You are God’s healed and Satan is trying to kill you. Unless you know that as fact, he will deceive you into believing you are being destroyed by that lying symptom. The Word must have permanence over the attention you give to the symptoms.

Otherwise, Satan will use your mind and fill it with unbelief, by telling you that God’s Word will not work for you. But that is a lie! God cannot lie! God will prove His Word if you will dare to decree it in the face of the enemy. So, with pain-symptoms, you must still ‘confess the promise’.

The truth is, circumstances or conditions that you are in can only be changed when you believe the Word of God above symptoms or circumstances that you are experiencing. All things are temporary, except God’s Word, and it is unchangeable. It will stand the test of time. God tells us that we can have whatsoever we say according to Mark 11:23-24. However, you must believe that God will bring the promise to pass when you claim it without wavering or doubting the promise.

So speak God’s promise over all your symptoms without claiming the doctor’s diagnosis. But, don’t ignore what the doctor said, instead, you must tell the diagnoses that it is illegally there, and that you are rejecting the diagnosis. Then you declare that you are decreeing God’s promise over the doctor’s diagnosis, instead of pampering it. You have the right to decree the promise of God, because Jesus paid the cost to redeem you from the curse of sickness by the stripes that He took upon His back to redeem you. So proclaim God’s promise and don’t claim the problem.

Yet, most people state the condition they are going through, instead of saying what God’s Word says over the condition; that is reality; it isn’t faith. Faith speaks what God says over conditions. Stating God’s Word is faith! That is the only way that we can change what is, into what God says about our condition. (Because, by (Isaiah and 1 Peter) they both say that you are healed.)

Therefore, it means it is already done in the Spiritual realm, but you must call it as if it is already so, until it manifests in the physical. That is what I did when I had lupus; for 12 months I called myself healed according to God’s Word, until all my symptoms left and my healing manifested.

God’s Word is truth. He cannot lie. It is impossible for Him to lie. Since He confirms His Word and holds it above His Name we are only secured by declaring His Word. We are not secured by no other power, or by no other source – apart from what God states in His Word. He wants to prove His Word and He will prove it as we diligently speak and decree it with our mouth. I know this is true, as that is what I did when I spoke the Word…for my healing from lupus – 22 years ago.

God doesn’t love me more than you. It is His Word I stand upon that He highly honors! As His Word must be proven by your words, and actions so it can come to pass. God’s Word is His will. He has a covenant with us; He cannot break it. We break covenant by our unbelief, and that ties God’s hand from blessing us. Unbelief is sin, so God cannot look on sin. “Whatsoever is not of faith is sin,” by (Ro. 14:23). God always looks for active faith before our circumstances change.

So we must get rid of doubt and unbelief and trust God’s Word only, to get our situation changed. We must not be guilty of doubting the integrity of God or His willingness, nor His infallible promises. If God could be guilty of not keeping one of His promises – then we would all be in big trouble. We would have no salvation. As our eternal soul’s salvation is based upon the integrity of God’s Word, and not on our feelings, nor our circumstances. Circumstances change, but God’s Word cannot be altered or changed. It is forever settled in Heaven, by (Psalms 119.)

So don’t allow the enemy to talk you out of trusting God for your healing, the same as you trusted Him for your salvation! You must put the enemy under your feet according to Luke 10:19, because Jesus gave you the power over all the power of the enemy. When Satan is under your feet you will only hear the voice of the Lord. Jesus said in John 10:3-5, My sheep hear my voice and another they will not follow. So enforce God’s Word on the enemy and God will join in with your words, and then you will see God perform His Word that you are verbally enforcing. You cannot gain victory until you believe God and stand on His Word only! So be diligent and keep doing the Word. Never be guilty of hearing only, without being a doer of the Word, (James 1:22.)

When you really get a revelation of God’s Word as the only truth, there will be a change from defeat to victory in your life. Romans 8:11-13 says “If the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken [make alive] your mortal bodies.” As then, you will overcome all of the attacks of the devil by the grater one living inside you. For greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. As Satan is bugging you, then you just look to Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, by (Heb. 12:2).

Isaiah 26:3, if your mind is stayed on the Lord, He will give you perfect peace. By Isaiah 26:4, you must “Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.” God’s Word is the only truth that our spirit can feed on…if we are to overcome the lies of the enemy. When the Word of God consumes us, then the lies of the enemy cannot penetrate our mind to sway us.

In the midnight hour when the devil thinks he has you down, just call on Jesus with praise and He will come. “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him,” by Isaiah 59:19. Then “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper" according to Isaiah 54:17. So, “If God be for us, who can be against us?" by (Romans 8:31). So if you trust God’s Word and follow His Covenant Laws, then He will bring you through every attack.

So quote Psalms 91, and start shouting for God is on your side. No plague can overtake you because you are redeemed from the curse, by (Galatians 3:13). Redeemed means bought back with the price of Jesus’ Own Sinless Blood, just as if you had never been guilty of any sin. If you will start shouting for what Jesus has already done, then He will do far more when He hears praise coming out your mouth, because Jesus is High Priest of our profession, by (Heb. 3:1).

The Saints overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and by words of their testimony, by (Rev. 12:11). God is faithful to His Word that He hears coming out of your mouth when you speak it in faith. Mark 5:36 states, “Be not afraid; only believe.” You can walk out of a deathbed, by walking on the water of God’s Word, just as Peter did, until he took his eyes off Jesus to consider the storm. All circumstances and symptoms are storms. Get your eyes off the storm and look unto the Word of God, so you can walk out in victory, just as I walked out of a paralyzed bed, and also from lupus.

God wants you to be encouraged, so I dedicate this faith article to those who are going through battles that Satan is waging. Just look to Jesus, He is the author and finisher of your faith. You must believe God’s Word above all lying symptoms, and boldly proclaim His promises. So then if you are God’s real saved Church, “The gates of Hell shall not prevail against you, by (Mat. 16:18).

Satan’s only power over us is fear & deception. So get rid of fear, then deception will go. Don’t be deceived as Eve was. The Holy Spirit dwelling inside you is too smart to believe Satan’s lies. We are God’s sheep and we listen only to the voice of the Good Shepherd. Although Satan forms weapons against us, God will not let them prosper…if we will trust in His Word. God’s Word never fails is we stand fast on it. The Word is solid foundation. Other foundations crumble, but God’s Word cannot fail. We overcome Satan by Jesus, who gave His life and shed His Blood for us.

Glory to God we win; the Word of God states we win! We overcome Satan by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the words of our testimony. I overcame the enemy that tried to kill me with lupus and I am still healed after 22 years of giving my testimony. You can start shouting victory, as you are on the winning side, that is, if you will trust in the Lord with all your heart and not lean to your own understanding, by Pr. 3:5-6. So don’t let Satan talk to your mental understanding, as he is a professional deceiver; he deceived our intelligent first Mother Eve. So beware!

When you endeavor to enforce God’s Living Word on the devil, he can’t stop your faith. So, then as you draw near to God and resist the enemy, he will flee from you. But you must get real tough on the enemy to make him go. Then by enforcing God’s Word on Satan, you will overcome.

“God so loved the world, or (you) so that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believed on him, (or you) – shall be saved, (John 3:16.) So trust in the Lord and believe His Word, and you will see the glory of God manifest in your life, just as I have seen it manifest in my life. I trusted and obeyed the Word by believing it above my doctor’s report. I did not believe, or talk about the symptoms Satan gave me. God is good; He wants us healed and well, according to (3 John 1:2). But prosperity of health, or wealth cannot rise above our confessions nor can prosperity of soul.

Open the Bible and follow the instructions in Joshua. I say in my own words, “You must meditate God’s Word day and night, and make it come out your mouth, then you observe to do according to all that is written therein. Therefore you will make your way prosperous, then you shall have good success” by (Joshua 1:8). Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice by (1 Sm. 15:22-b). Obey and be blessed, and don’t get Satan’s curses. Victory is yours for obeying. Amen!
